Clarendon

permeable-pavement

Clarendon features porous asphalt in between Forest and Bird. The project was part of the CSO 60 pilot projects completed in 2012, which all drain to Scajaquada Creek during times of overflow. Other streets that were a part of the CSO 60 pilot were Elmwood, Windsor, Parkdale, and Claremont.

The porous asphalt on Clarendon cost about $275,000 and has a storage capacity of about 64,000 gallons underneath the pavement.
